Artists & Acts
TAMBORES DEL DIABLO
Cumbia
Traditional afro-columbian music - Bullerengue
We are a group of 5 people (Diana, Camilo, Julio, Sergio, Milena) that tries to make known the traditional Colombian music. For several, the electronic cumbia is already known. Our project tries to bring back the traditional origins of this genre. Through the singing, drums, traditional flutes and dance. Our music is also a way to understand Afrodiasporic music and its approach in the cultural expressions of Latin America. After two great concerts in the Gängeviertel and the red Flora last year, we want to bring party, good mood and community to Wilhemsburg.
SMAI TAWI KEMETIC YOGA
Tabitha "Het Heru" Minott
Smai Tawi Basu/teacher
Tabithas first experience with Yoga was in the early 2000s. Around 2012 she first heard about Kemetic Yoga/Smai Tawi and took her first class in 2013. From there her interest and practice grew. This original african yoga practice made her feel at home, in connection with the african ancestors. In October 2020 Tabitha got certified as a Smai Tawi teacher/Basu into the System "Thef Sema Paut Neteru" by Neter Aunkh
What is Smai Tawi Kemetic Yoga?
Smai Tawi is a more than 4000 year old ancient african system of yoga enlightenment. It is based upon the practices of physical movements combined with controlled deep breathing and meditation. Tabitha teaches the Thef Sema Paut Neteru System, which was developed by Muata Ashby and Seba Dja Ashby
Benefits of Smai Tawi:
- Increases blood flow and digestion
- Tension and toxin release
- Pain relief
- Assists in weight control
- Strengthens the immune system
As stated in my classes, I focus on deep breathing in harmony with the postures. After the Yoga session, I always add a short set of Caribbean island dancing to round up the session. Good relaxing vibes are guaranteed!!

LA FLEUR
La Fleur
Hip Hop and Visual Artist
La Fleur was born and spent his childhood in 91 (Essonnes). He discovered rap through his auntie's son in the Montconseil district of Corbeil-Essonnes in the Paris suburbs. Several years later, he observed the young people at his school getting together between breaks to dance and rap. At the same time, in his older brother's black Opel Corsa, his first freestyles were being performed to the sounds of Oxmo Puccino, Passi, Nas... His mother, originally from Réunion, listened to music from Réunion and popular French songs.
At the age of 14, he returned to Réunion Island and joined the judo sport-study school in St Denis. At boarding school, the sega and maloya artists Danyel Waro, Baster and Gramoun Lélé could be heard in the corridors, and sometimes freestyles were improvised on balconies or rooftops.
When he arrived in Hamburg, Germany, he became a member of the Hip-Hop collective Caval and performed with them on several stages (Rote Flora, Festival Altonales, Saueurkrautfrabrik, Honigfabrik, Rigaer 94 Kadterschmiede Berlin).
In 2021, while he was in the Concord studio waiting for a friend to come and record his music, he found himself in front of the microphone, recording the sound for him. The "La Fleur" project was born, bringing together his various influences.
A visual artist, he now combines his passion for images with his passion for music. His poems and intimate lyrics are a blend of his different influences, sometimes sung in Creole, French or English.
