Baugespanne
A Baugespann is an ephemeral structure used in Switzerland to demarcate the potential space that an architectural construction shall occupy. It consists of a series of poles, held in place with legs or wires and often ended up in angular slats. This system enables to visualize the profile of the building - especially its height - and to assess its impact on the environment, allowing the neighbours to approve or to reject the final construction project.
