Diego Mallo (1974 - Vigo, Spain) is a visual artist based in Barcelona.

He gained a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, and completed his studies in the UK (Exeter, Winchester and Brighton Universities).

His work comes from the sense of detachment from the everyday and, using mainly drawings, often returns to the idea of the absurd as critique.

Tinged with a sharp irony, his work leads one to read between the lines.

He took part on the 250th and 251st Summer exhibitions at the Royal Academy, London.

He has exhibited across Europe including UK, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal and Spain.
