To be clear there is something inherently good about plants and organic materials. I think it is a real problem when morality is ascribed to the “natural world”. I'm also super aware, personally aware, of how ideas of what is natural / unnatural have been used a tool of white supremacy and the oppression LGBTQIA people .
I also think however the idea that humans are somehow outside of nature - are unnatural- is also a tool of oppression - particularly in relation to marginalised communities - to make us forget our essentialness - our bodies as as much a part of nature as a field or stream or whatever.
