Being Kind, Being Loose & Letting the Feeling of Making Take Me When it Can.

My experience of Lockdown as an artist has been exciting & terrifying as I’m sure it has been for many. I’ve often found it hard to find any creative flow despite having loads of time to actually sit down & make. I really noticed how global & personal difficulties really affected my ability to follow a connective flow from idea - experimentation - edit & solidify.

I am a dancer & designer. I wanted to explore the idea of dance being able to inspire an entire play. I wanted to explore ‘the digital’ with dance - focusing on details in the body, costume & set finding little pockets of storytelling as you explore a the page.

Here I have created a collage of a dance through short rehearsal clips, images, & sounds.
