Painting
‘As a part of my interdisciplinary practice, I would rather address my painterly approach as a kind of secondary focus compared to performance art and installation art. My main focus on painting is how a portraiture could be addressed differently, with peculiar facial characters which cannot be usually seen from social occasions. I mainly take this practice onto my own portrait because the social I of others cannot demise in front of me. As I look at a mirror, I try to grimace for the sake of not being conformed by the social I, and at that moment, it is a method of annihilation introduced by Nietzsche……’
