I am interested in generating queer imagery as counterparts to the existing binary order
A commissure (/ˈkɒməʃər/) is the location at which two objects abut or are joined. The term also refers to the junction of the labial commissure of the mouth, where upper and lower lip meet.
I use commissure as an umbrella term for all the objects, prostheses, wearable sculptures that I make.
Conceiving and dreaming of queer forms of being and becoming-with others,
I operate in the midst of fiction
In-between diverse layers,
where dreams are an integral part of life
where the human psyche creates and works incessantly towards actuality
sometimes while awake, sometimes in dreams (cf. Paul B. Preciado).
I mediate through performance, sculptural settings, costumes, objects, voices, and soundscapes.
I investigate and create interactions between bodies, objects, and spaces,
while I dedicate myself to reinventing subjects, kinships, and relationships from a decidedly queer feminist perspective.
