Edinburgh College of Art'da anlatım konusunu incelediğim master sergimden görüntüler.
Scenes from my masters show at the Edinburgh College of Art exploring the theme of Narrative.
Narrative is about putting one and one together. As a structure made up of interconnected elements, it relies on the act of spotting and following connections. Experiencing that process adds an endearing value to the end result. It's not the dazzling outcome that matters the most, its what you go through while there, because that is what makes the outcome interesting.

Sekiz farklı yazarın metinlerini birleştirerek sürekli bir anlatım oluşturan But to Begin, International Society of Typographic Designers'ın, 'tipografik yolculuk' temalı proje çağrısına cevaben yaratıldı.
An answer to an International Society of Typographic Designers brief, which asked for a typographic journey through connections, But to Begin brings together texts from eight different authors to create a continuous narrative. The central theme is Theseus' journey into the labyrinth.
The book is screen-printed onto eight acrylic panels that were sanded by hand.
Awarded membership into the ISTD with merit.

Ağız kanseri hakkında bilinçlendirme amacı taşıyan bir aylık kampanya.
Fotoğrafçılar ve hemşirelerinden oluşan ekipler, sokakta insanlarla yüz yüze konuşarak hastalığın belirtileri hakkında bilgi paylaştı. Buna karşılık, bireyler, portrelerinin çekilmesine izin vererek kampanyanın kolektif yüzünün bir parçası olmaya davet edildiler.
Sosyal medyada paylaşılan portreler, ay sonunda enstelasyon olarak derlenip Edinburgh'un St. Andrew's Meydanı'nda projeksiyon yardımıyla sergilendi.
Kampanyaya fotoğrafçılardan biri olarak katkıda bulundum.
A month-long campaign aiming to raise awareness of mouth cancer. Information about early symptoms was shared directly with people on the street by small teams of photographers and NHS Lothian nurses. In exchange, individuals were invited to have their portrait taken to become a part of the collective face of the campaign.
After being shared on social media platforms, the portraits were gathered into an installation and projected in Edinburgh's St. Andrew's Square at the end of the month.
I contributed as one of the twelve photographers.
