Lustwandeln - a german term for strolling around in the world without a particular destination but being wide awake and aware of the magic of the everyday surroundings - the way of capturing the unnoticed beauty in the mundane, taking in the the poetic flow of serendipity.
Photography for me is an intuitive process of hunting and gathering mostly temporary and site-specific arrangements, special situational moments of this strange world, where beauty or disgust, glory or devastation lies in the eyes of the beholder-
Moments of tragedy, destruction, mindlessness are transformed into compassion - because beautiful is anything looked at with a loving gaze.
