The Berlin Album

The Berlin Album is the Bachelor project of Tina Zürner and Lydia Stockert. Both studied communication design at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, Germany.

Berlin has become a myth, especially among creatives. For a long time our capital has been attracting people, not only from Germany, but from all over the world. The Berlin Album contains ten interviews with international musicians. They talk about their way to Berlin, reflect their expectations and reveal the fascination. As a homage we visualised their music. We want to share their stories, experiences and music with this album.

The Berlin Album is handmade and self-published in an edition of 115 copies. It is printed with a risograph in four colors. The covers are done with silk-screen printing in different colors, therefore every exemplar is unique.
