Here's a space that proves it takes creativity, not cash, to create something spectacular. She's living a philosophy. And she's decorating according to that philosophy rather than trying to present something which is for someone else.

I found Betty by accident. It was the best accident that ever happened to me!

I decided that I needed help decorating my condo. I knew what I liked, but could not figure out how to do it on my own. I did a search on the internet for a decorator. Betty’s website came up, loved what I saw, gave her a call, and the rest is history. Betty has helped me redecorate my living room and dining room, office, and bathroom. We are continuing the process and Betty is helping me with my kitchen, master bedroom, and master bathroom.

I feel that Betty was able to pick up on my style by our talks and was able to translate that into a very simple redecorating plan for me. She also understood that I had a budget and helped me to maintain this budget by using things I already had in my house. I really can’t say enough about Betty as a person and her talent. Betty is great to work with and very professional.

UPDATE

Betty helped me to decorate and totally refinish my kitchen and master bathroom in a beautiful and simple way and on top of that helped me to stay in my budget. I get a bunch of compliments and I have Betty to thank for it.

I saw Betty on a program on HGTV. I believe the program was "My First Home". I liked her designs and relationship with the new home owners. I was a new home owner, & so I called her. She promptly responded, & we met. I liked Betty immediately for her total professionalism. She listened to what I liked and made many suggestions. Betty never pushed an idea on me. She always explained why she made her suggestions and provided me with alternatives. Betty also provided internet sources for some of the furnishings and reviewed items I found on the internet as well. She located a hand-made dining room table for me that never fails to get compliments. Betty was also conscious of price. We discussed what I wanted to spend and we kept within those limits. She also made use of some of the furnishings that I already owned. I really liked this. By the end of what I had anticipated might be an ordeal, I was completely happy & impressed. No ordeal at all.If I became concerned about anything I emailed or called Betty and she responded immediately. I recommened Betty to a dear friend of mine as well who also used her expertise. Almost no one comes into my home for the first time and fails to give it a compliment. This includes friends of mine as well as workers most of whom are men. Her designs are appealing to women and men alike. I intend to use Betty in the future for bathroom redos. I just love her. You will too. I would absolutely recommend her.

We were very family with Betty's work from her HGTV show which gave us the initial level of confidence. After meeting with her and talking with her about our plan of action - a complete design of the kitchen, two and one-half baths, and a complete color scheme for all of the rooms in the house - we immediately became excited by the close correlation between what we wanted and the ideas that she offered.

For example, we showed Betty a few Caribbean prints that we had made in Jamaica and she immediately provided us with some vivid colors that matched our vision of our dining room. Her ideas came alive when we went shopping for the bathroom tiles/materials and all of the materials for the kitchen.

The end result is a decorated house that we look forward to when we come home each day. We are very grateful for the number of hours and the sweat equity that she put into the design of our home. We could continue on with a glowing account of Betty and her creative skills, but will instead simply say that we think the world of her skills and professionalism and that we respect her and her work greatly.

The most fitting word to describe Betty's work is REGAL!

Working with Betty was an amazing experience for us. Not only did she help us create the kind of beautiful space we wanted to live in, she helped us to develop our vision for our home so that it became even more extraordinary than we originally thought possible. Betty never rejected any of our ideas, but instead, worked with our ideas and personal space to make our living space uniquely ours. The best part about working with Betty is that we learned so much about creating beautiful spaces; she taught us as she worked with us so that we began to feel confident in our own design decisions even after our home project with her was finished. We look forward to working with Betty again when we move into a new home in a couple of years!
