the passage - 2013
We move through the world, sometimes quietly, sometimes loudly, in flagrant color and in muted monotones. Our memory marks the passage with inscriptions in the sand, inevitably crumbling over time, worn smooth by the distance of years. We make these photographs to remember.
Some of these photos are from the weddings I've shot, some are from styled shoots or other commissions, and the remainder are from my personal life and work. They aren't necessarily the best photos I've taken in 2013, but for me they are the most memorable, for one reason or another.
If you appear in these photographs... I hope you will remember.
