Wow, Ben and Carisse.
Totally-unbelievably-super-over-the-moon that Alex Ball Videography and I got to fly down to the Blue Mountains to spend a few days with B&C.
Traveling around the place gives you time to re-evaluate and reflect on the things that you can and can't control in your life. I'm very humbled that I get to meet the people I do, but even more so that I get to become genuine friends with two lovely people like Ben and Carisse.
Right from when they took the time to pick me up form the airport and show me around, I knew I had struck gold. They even bought Alex and I special brooches to wear on the day.
So, in the heart of the blue mountains, we set about documenting a day very dear to Ben, Carisse, their family and friends.
I will never forget these two. Ever.

{ Kelly and Craig }
Craig, an ultimate frisbee diehard and Kelly, a super creative wonder woman, celebrated their wedding day in Brookfield, QLD.
It was such a delight to spend the day with these two, who are really going to kick butts in their married life together.
Bianca, a writer for Rolling Stone, Australia's #1 zine maker of the year, and let's not leave out that she has her own super popular blog conversations with bianca.
Jhonny (no I didn't type that wrong), a musician and phenomenal artist who has toured with bands like regurgitator.
Bianca and Jhonny did things their own way and celebrated getting married and throwing a mexican fiesta.
I couldn't stop smiling the whole day just thinking about these two and what they've had to overcome throughout their lives to get where they are now.
Check out the mexican fiesta wedding.

Anna and Chris. These two have me lost for words.
A wedding in the rolling green hills of Maleny, a party in the family shed, song and dance, way too many good looking people, and then there are the cows that try and push your car off the road.
Yes, I'm serious. These Maleny cows aren't mucking about.
There is a beauty and sincerity to this story that I am so eager to share with you.

Cass and Pete's wedding was the kind of wedding that made me giddy, a real honour to be so close to two incredible individuals.
What I will always remember are the speeches from this wedding. Both families really bought on the tears in the room, the love wrapped up in words was tangible. There was such joy and wisdom that really gave me goosebumps.
Pete and Cass are just the kind of people that are really going to kick a lot of butts and win a lot of hearts. Go get 'em!

This wedding has been featured on Hello May, one of the coolest wedding magazines around (if not THE coolest). Check out Dave and Alana's backyard wedding.
You can still watch Alana and Dave's stop motion wedding video.

{ Lauren and Daniel }
This was a wedding very dear to my heart. Two people who are incredible, strong, free-spirited and socially conscious in their own way came together on one day to become an official team of two.
Daniel and Lauren’s wedding was made from items and materials that were ethically sourced and came from earth friendly practises, including op-shops and recycled items. Why? So that their wedding could benefit other people contributing to systems with positive consequences for the world in which we live.
Daniel’s suit was $2 from a Church garage sale and both Daniel and Lauren chose to wear TOMS shoes to the wedding.
Seriously, I could do an entire blog post about how far this approach extended.
As much as all of these details played an important part in the day, it was the love that family, friends and that of Daniel and Lauren which made this day so important. I say important because there has never been two people like this that have come together to make an eternal statement to the world. Not even the rain with all its might could stop this day. In an act of defiance Daniel and his boys rode, yes, rode to the reception on their push bikes in the pouring rain… because that’s just what Daniel does.
I am so honoured and so humbled to be a part of that day. But even more so, I’m so thankful for our friendship. Enjoy the photos, I told the story the best I could. And when you’re thinking, ‘Wow, this looks so freakin good’, remember this:
this wedding was planned in seven weeks.
