The story these illustrations were based upon, was inspired by the story of Little Red Riding Hood, and in which, this turn, the Wolf, after being fooled by other animals dressed as Little Red, writes a protesting letter.
The support of these illustrations is digital, and it depicts several scenes from the story, which was the winning story of a Children's Book organised by the supermarket chain Pingo Doce.
In this scene, which would be the cover illustration, the Wolf is holding its protest letter, ready to send it, while some hints of Little Red lurk in the background, the hunter now turned hunted.
In this scene, the bear, dressed as Little Red, with the Wolf exhasperated, throwing his hands to his forehead.
Here, the Wolf confused by the revelation of Little Red's braids.
The frog explains the Wolf how he can file a complaint about the situation.
The Wolf threatens the frog.
The Wolf finally writes his letter complaining to the writers of the story.
This illustration was made for FolkTale Week 2018 and it's my take on a gouache version of the original Alice Through The Looking Glass illustration, a transfixing image that pulls us into another world along with Alice. My goal was to represent Alice being pulled into another, parallel-looking world through the mirror.
Made for FolkTale Week 2018 as well, this illustration combines both gouache and coloured pencil for details and it represents the scene where the wold goes after Little Red through the forest, hiding behind the trees.

This set of digital cover and spread illustrations was made for the Plum Agency contest on Alice in Woderland back in 2019.
As I am passionate about books, especially children's books, and Alice in Wonderland is a book I'm passionate about, I decided to depict one of my favourite scenes: the one where Alice falls into the rabbit hole after the White Rabbit.
The second spread was one I thought would look good in a two-page spread and also one of the scenes with the most comic relief and Carroll-"nonsense": the tea scene.
