"obstruction" 2012

This Triptych of 3 photographs confronts the relationship of painting and photography along with my own subconscious inner debate about it.

The chosen images are deliberately left open to interpretation and perception for the viewer due to the use of metaphorical and symbolic means and abstraction.
The notion of seeing the act of a taking a photograph, and the act of painting as some kind of performance has been incorporated in the method of creating the work and is also reflected within the motive of the work. (2013)
